KUPANG – As a manifestation of collaboration in expanding the insights of lecturers and students about Subaltern Linguistics, Universitas Nusa Cendana (Undana) and FLC Group held an International Workshop with the theme Subaltern Linguistics: Why, what, and how at the ULC Undana Hall, Monday, May 3, 2024.
The event was opened by the Head of the International Relations Office (IRO) of Undana, Ir. Maria Lobo, M.Math.Sc., Ph.D., and moderated by Santri E. P Djahimo, S.Pd., M.App.Ling., Ph.D., a lecturer from the English Language Education Faculty (FKIP).
In the workshop, Ass. Prof. Ahmar Mahboob, as the FLC Founder member, presented material on Subaltern Linguistics, which is a linguistic science conducted by and for self-empowerment, well-being, and community welfare.
Meanwhile, the Head of the IRO of Undana, Ir. Maria Lobo, M.Math.Sc, Ph.D., when opening the event, stated that the purpose of this workshop is to broaden the insights of both lecturers and students who study language science about linguistics with the concept of learning/teaching language through project-based approaches.
