PARIS – Nusa Cendana University (Undana) is currently enhancing its international cooperation with several world universities. After collaborating with Pukyong University (PKNU) in Busan, South Korea, last week, this time, Université Paris Nanterre in France has become the destination for exploration of collaboration by this globally oriented university.
The exploration of collaboration was conducted by the leadership team of Undana, namely Vice Rector I for Academic Affairs, Prof. Dr. drh. Annytha I. R. Detha, M.Si, Vice Rector IV for Planning, Cooperation, and Information Systems, Prof. Dr. Jefri S. Bale, ST., M.Eng, Dean of the Faculty of Science and Engineering, Prof. Philiphi de Rozari, S.Si, M.Si, M.Sc, Ph.D, and the Head of the International Relation Office, Ir. Maria Lobo, M.Math.Sc., Ph.D.
The leadership team of Undana was received by the Vice Rector for Administration and Finance of Université Paris Nanterre, Prof. Olivier Polit, and staff from the Laboratory of Energetics Mechanics Electromagnetism (LEME), Dr. Ing. Michele D’Olivio, and Prof. Emmanuel Valot, PhD, at the Site Ville d’Avray of Université Paris Nanterre on Wednesday, November 22, 2023.
During the discussion, the leadership team of Undana proposed potential collaborations with Université Paris Nanterre. Both parties agreed to conduct joint research and provide opportunities for faculty members in the field of Engineering – focusing on energy, material engineering, and electromagnetism – to visit Université Paris Nanterre.
Through this visit, Undana’s faculty members can also utilize research facilities, leading to collaborative publications. Following the meeting, both parties agreed to initiate the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in the near future.
