The official meeting between the Delegation of Universidade de Natar (UNDANA) and Universidade Nacional Timor Lorosa’e (UNTL) aims to prepare for the International Cross-Border Conference. Both universities are committed to enhancing academic cooperation and expanding international networks. The conference will serve as a platform for discussing important issues faced by the countries involved. Project Objectives The main objectives of the International Cross-Border Conference are: Enhance Academic Cooperation: Build long-term partnerships between UNDANA, UNTL, and other regional and international institutions. Encourage Dialogue on Global Issues: Discuss issues such as sustainable development, regional security, and education that are of mutual concern. Engage Students and Faculty: Provide opportunities for students and faculty to share research and engage in international discussions. Expand International Networks: Increase the global presence of both universities. Implementation Methods To achieve these objectives, the following steps will be taken: Formation of a Joint Planning Committee: A committee with members from UNDANA and UNTL will oversee all aspects of the conference, including themes, keynote speakers, and discussion sessions. Virtual and In-Person Participation: The conference will be held both in-person and virtually to allow more participants, including international attendees, to join. Announcement of Themes and Call for Papers: Relevant conference themes will be announced, and researchers will be invited to submit abstracts or full papers. Discussion Sessions and Workshops: The conference will feature workshops and panel discussions to encourage the exchange of ideas among participants. Logistics and Venue Preparation: UNDANA and UNTL will collaborate on securing the venue and ensuring smooth logistical arrangements for the event. Partnerships and Sponsorships: Both universities will seek partnerships and sponsorships to support funding and the success of the event.
